Biofuels has completed the building of its first 250,000 mt biodiesel processing plant at Seal Sands, Middlesbrough on the north east coast of England. The site offers a deep water port and a well established infrastructure.
The biodiesel production, equivalent to some 284 million litres of biodiesel, will use renewable vegetable oil crops as the feedstock.
The photographs below show the history of the construction progress.
